Exile (Part Two)
Exile (Part Two)
Stars tumbled through the sky. The Princess of the Night lay in the castle courtyard alone, watching her carefully crafted heavenscape. It brought no relief to her. Her insides were cold; she felt empty. Her mind was filled with regretful and stinging thoughts. She should have spent more time with Celestia. She should have kept a closer eye on her. She should have been the one who disappeared. She should have, she should have, she should have. In the end she hadn’t.
One star reminded her somewhat of herself... The pole star. It was one of only two of its kind. They were opposites, to be sure, but both shone brightly. All the other stars revolved around them. The pole stars never moved. Apart but equal. One could never see both at the same time. If only...
An idea struck Luna. She stood up and brushed the grass off her coat. As she closed her eyes, a blue glow surrounded her horn. Far over the hor
3 Days Regret - Part 3Applejack lay awake in bed holding her legs around the shivering pegasus by her side. Though Fluttershy remained asleep the earth pony could feel the discomfort in her lover, as if suffering a terrible nightmare. Applejack looked up from the bed to gaze out the window, the outside world was barely visible befitting the early morning before Celestia's sun had fully risen in the sky. The longer she gazed outwards the more her emotions faltered, almost as if feeling pain that wasn't hers. Her thinking cut short before it could elaborate itself as the pony in her hold began to cry.
"It's ok Flutter, Ah'm here." Applejack held her lover closer covering as much of her trembling body in the embrace as possible. "Ah'm here, it's ok." She could feel Fluttershy accepting the embrace, comforting her, but ultimately not being enough to stop her crying. Even for Fluttershy crying to such an extent due to seemingly nothing wasn't normal, especially after discovering love. As Applejack continued to c

But I implore you to stay with me until the very end until you pass judgement! Now sit back and behold this fantastic and astounding account of how . . . When I wasn't eating or sleeping, I was asking Pinkie Pie details about what she remembered about her, ahem, reunification. I read every book I could on dream symbolism hoping it might help me once I began. I also was sure to check on Trixie repeatedly. She wasn't any trouble. She did anything she was told without a word.

Knock knock knock.
The quiet knocking on the window broke the near-silence in the cottage. Fluttershy blinked her eyes open, sitting up and stretching before looking to her window to identify the source of the noise. She wasn't all that surprised to see her best friend Rainbow Dash hovering just outside, the light of the moon lighting up her multicolored mane. Her expression was also what she expected; she looked troubled, tired, even a little embarrassed. Fluttershy held back a smile and quickly made her way over to the window to unlock it and swing it wide open.
"Hey," Rainbow greeted her, brushing her mane out of her eyes briefly.
Enter the Ponyverse, Chapter 03By the time we got back to Twilight's, She had a whole stack of books piled around her with Fluttershy and Spike in smaller piles of their own. "There's just nothing like him in any of these books, not even in the fictional ones."
"And I can't find any book called 'Esop's Fables' either." Spike said, still sorting through his pile.
It took a second for Twilight to see that we had arrived, and after a quick explanation of what she knew and was trying to do, Rraity agreed that teaching me would be helpful. We soon got back to her butique allowing the three of them to look deeper into the matter in peace, "alright Bailey, I want you to close your eyes and clear your mind.... Now imagine the needle on my desk were to be lifted up by you." I peeked through my eyes and saw the needle she was mentioning, thinking rather hard I felt a strange feeling almost like a flowing energy from my forhead was leaking out of the top of my head, and while imagining the needle lifting streight up, I peeked
Soaring with the Rainbows Chapter 3
Soarin beat his wings, forcing them to carry his body for just a minute more. He gritted his teeth, straining to give no sign of how much this pained him. If he was going to lead the squad, this pretense of invincibility was necessary. The acting captain coasted on an updraft, using its energy to glide in to the training field. From what he could see, the team was already there, with the exceptions of Fleetfoot and Spitfire.
The squad hung around in bunches on the field, lazing about. Surely the stallions should be a bit more skittish than this? But what he had thought to be a violent panic had, in fact, merely been a localized pocket of mayhem. The stallions here hadn't been affected, although they seemed to be more alert than the mares; everypony here was unaware of what had happened over at the other side of the base. Well, that would change pretty quickly. Gossip spread fast here. He'd better take the chance to tell them the truth now, before the stories reached them.
Enter the Ponyverse, Chapter 02We went into the house and I saw that the inside of this tree was simply hollowed out with bookcases carved out on the sides with a staircase to the upper levels. Spike was not seen, I assumed he was on the second floor as Twilight called for him, "Spike! I need you right now!"
"Just a second." It sounded as if he was rearranging the books as they dropped with bangs as they hit the floor. It only took him about a minute before coming down to see what Twilight wanted.
"Spike, I need you to get the dictionary and look somethings up for me."
"Sure, what do you want me to look up?"
"I want you to look up 'eemale', 'kompyuter', 'tivi', 'teksting', and 'dimenshon' " Twilight demanded spike as he sat the dictionary down on the table on the far side of the room. She flicked her head as her horn began to glow again, this time a book came off the shelves and opened in front of her, an atlas, "You said Orlando Florida. right?"
"That's right, but I don't think you're going to ever find it."
Prologue, Chapter 1Ponyville was a strange place. Good, of course, but strange.
Then again, in the context of Equestria in general, it was hardly strange at all.
Equestria itself was something unique. A kingdom of ponies and some other species mixed in here and there that got along with one another in perfect harmony. The records in Canterlot had the proof; there hadn't been a violent altercation between anypony in over three thousand years. It was peaceful, introverted, sheltered from what lay outside its boundaries by its beloved rulers: Princess Celestia and the recently returned Princess Luna.
However, besides Canterlot and possibly Manehattan, Ponyville had always been the poster child town of Equestria. It was the manifestation of how Equestrians were expected to act; politely, gently, peacefully. It was for this reason that Celestia had sent Twilight Sparkle, her star pupil, to this town in order to find friends.
Twilight Sparkle herself, however, was not in any way harmonious at the moment. She w

Twilight was doing her best to understand what the three pictures before her meant. Each picture was a distorted mess of color and shapes. At times she thought she had been able to make out the vague shape of a pony or some other shape that she could identify as an object, but it quickly moved back into being a distorted blob.
"I can't make heads or tails of this." Twilight as groaning as she looked back and forth, "How exactly does this spell work? This is my second time doing it and I'm STILL confused." The book didn't explain any further than how to perform the spell and its purpose. Was it supposed to be easy to figure out? Should something have been obvious to her? There were no instructions on how to interpret the pictures, or what she could do to help!
It really seemed like she was purposely being kept out, as if she wasn't allowed to see what each of her frie

Inspector Wolf The old lady was dead. I could smell it before I even got into the house. The whole place reeked of adrenaline, sweat, fear, copper and steel. He’d dropped her right in her living room. Chopped and chopped until she stopped moving. But I could tell I was getting close. This had been done in a hurry, and the killer didn’t have the time to clean up after himself like he usually did.
Across the room, the phone rang. The shrill sound set my teeth to grinding, but I ignored it. Instead I followed the killer’s bloody footprints into the back bedroom. He’d climbed out the window. If I hurried, I could catch up to him and end this disgusting spree he was on.
Then the answering machine kicked in. “Hi, Gramma! It’s Red. Sorry I’m running late. I kind of lost track of time. But don’t worry. I packed the picnic and I’m heading out the door right now. Love you.”
She’d been expec
